maybe we should hit it together then big D ! hahaIf you have a trail guide, the LPNF (Attached to Hungry Valley) is just endless singletrack and technical mountain climbing. Really awesome stuff there, just not something I'd do alone.
Yep, any general interest in mountain riding and you should spend the day exploring Arrowhead and big bear.
Lots of good stuff in arrowhead without the extra drive. Same terrain as hungry valley, Desert Mountain. - BIG DAN

hey broHungry Valley is fun, if you avoid the weekends. Gets very crowded. As Jeff said above, there is lots of riding within 1 1/2 - 2 hours from here. Where are you staying on your visit?
Thankyou bro for the info really appreciate it!Hungry Valley is a state operated OHV park.
Gorman is the town. Well actually it's three gas stations and two fast food restaurants and a freeway exit.
Hungry Valley SVRA is connected to Los Padres National Forest which contains many single track trails to get away from the park... however it may be closed when you get here.
Not suggesting you not visit Hungry Valley SVRA... but there are some amazing riding areas within a few hours of there that would blow your mind.... if you have the time to explore them.
Enjoy your visit
