My new RM125!!!

Well I did it again!!! Bought another Suzuki 2 stroke.... Low hours and just a sweet sweet lookin machine!........

Well in1981 it was atleast! lol
Here's the low down... My sons friends Nieghbor bought the bike in 1980 to race the winter trans-am series in Florida. He out about 15hrs on the bike, blew the top end and parked it because the local Kawi dealer have him a bike to race instead. 15-20yrs go by and the guys son drags it out of the barn, throws a piston in it and runs the back roads until it blows. Present day: The Nieghbor gives it to my sons friend for free with a new topend kit and up until last weekend it ran..... I picked it up this morning. Everything is still oem except for the tires. Bars, perches chain, etc etc all original. Pipe has a tiny ding and that's it. It needs a good cleaning and the suspension serviced along with new plastics and stuff. I'll have to order a new piston and check the bore but all the bearings are tight and smooth. So another project that I can use to beat some 450s in the vet class :smirk:

Oh, too bad... I thought you were going to smash on 450's with it...
but now that you've seen the old outdated technology, I guess all is lost...:smirk:
-BIG DAN:thumb:
No need to pull that piston. You just need run a little stop leak in the fuel.

Hows the head look?

Danno, I got a guy that will nikasil that steel sleeve...:smirk: however steel is what came stock and that's my gig. Still gonna whip 450s tho, maybe a few 500s too!

BK, the head looks perfect.... Will post a pic when I get home.
