Same minds...Riding across the desert at race pace (over 60mph) would give you the same results as racing an MX track. -BIGDAN

Hey how did this turn into something about me? I was just poking fun at a comment Rack made after he did his first MX race. But you need to run the same pace as you would the track in the dez and then compare. I can take care of that for you... Where's Teagle valley?......
Bwahahahaha!!!I wonder how taking photos of others riding compares

Oh we're comparing pros now?just sayin
NO. Because RV rode straight from the finish line to the interview and he barely seemed out of breath at all. -BIG DANOh we're comparing pros now?
I'm assuming that you're talking about SX?NO. Because RV rode straight from the finish line to the interview and he barely seemed out of breath at all. -BIG DAN
Supercross is well, Supercross.Yeah, watched Oakland last night. Good racing and his "after race composition" was pretty amazing too.
Wow, that's quit the leapI'm assuming that you're talking about SEX?
Yah, the variable can be the gap between 1st and 2nd.Here's how I look at, a dez/off road race takes X hours to complete, the racer will ride at a level that expels his "energy" in that time. A motocross racer will ride at a level to expel his "energy" in the 35+ minutes it takes to complete his moto. Was one more exhausting than the other if they both used up their "energy" by the end of the race?
Now I could see a moto guy go compete in a 2 hour off road race and be completely beat before the race is over because he didn't pace himself correctly. Same goes for an off road guy on the track, at the end of the moto he probably still has a juice in the tank because he paced himself to much. And in doing so sacrificed some speed/positions.
First and second what?Yah, the variable can be the gap between 1st and 2nd.
