Lost Coyotes Dual European Scrambles - September 11th & 12th

So the Dual Euro should be ideal for a newb first time wanna be racer hobbyist rider like myself? I ask these questions cuz I have ZERO experience nor have I watched a race in the dez........
Correct. A Euro will give you all the aspects of a Hare Scramble and Hare & Hound as in the banner start, chasing ribbon, watching the down arrows and road markings in a shorter course and only having to ride for an hour against guys closer to your age and riding level (The fast youngsters ride at different times).

So do they, AMA or Promoting MC Club, monitor this pretty good so the sandbaggers dont join the Beginner class?

I did 1 race waaaaaay back in the early, early 80's.....Huntington Beach M/C's put it on HBMC hare n hound...here's what I was told...

See smoke...roll it, dump it and pin it....continue in this fashion until you see a checkered flag!....

What gear first or second

Stewards (the person handling points and transfers in your age/division) monitor this pretty good. If a guy enters beginner and flat out smokes everyone, he will get bumped to Novice and so on.

What gear first or second
Depending on gearing and motor, that is up to you. I will start in 2nd.

So how many 40+ beginners are there? It can't be that many, can it?

If we all showed up would it be a DBA 40+ beginner class?
According to the latest points, there are 14 40+ Open Beginners with 9 of them having at least 1 ride so far.

I was looking at some DBAers support a little upper division..

So I would have these additional expenses to enter my first race:

$39 AMA Memership
$30 Entry Fee

And I would need an AMA Membership for each son too, correct?

Correct, plus $5 on each first entry for Legal Defense Fund. Oh and you have to sign up for D37 @ $20. Yeah the first time can cost. After that, it is just entry fees...
