Ipod shizzle

roger that, if you have it set to manual then you only have to delete it from the ipod and you can keep it in your library and you won't have to clean anything up in your library :thumb:

I believe that tiz the way it tiz...it works! I'm a down-loadin, deletin fool now!

NEW PROBLEM.......just plugged it into the truck, scrolled to music, scrolled to songs, then spun it around to a random song...just something i do and it froze! I've tried pressing the center button to re-set but nothing's happening. I pluged it into the PC and the usuall file didn't come up. The PC acknowledged it, it made the usual sound but nothings changed on the ipod or screen of the PC....

Don't panic yet Rez - this happened to me once and it happens to my wifes alot. There is a fix - in fact i asked about this very thing over on the other site a long time ago. I'll try and find my post and get back to you. :thumb:

O.K. Rez give this a try:
1. toggle the Hold switch on and off - make sure its off

2. Press and old the Menu and Center buttons for at least 6 seconds until the Logo appears.

If this doesn't work try plugging it in to fully charge. Let us know how it goes. :thumb:

Can I download music from someone elses iPod to my pc and then upload to my iPod?

Absolutely not. It's copyrighted.
If you try, when you plug in the other persons Ipod, it will delete all of their songs and upload yours.
Even if you have it set to "Manually manage music" it still wont let you drag their music to your library.
The only way around getting somebodies else's music is to have them make a data dvd of their library, upload it on your computer, and then it will ask you the persons Itunes account password.
You can share your itunes password with only 5 other computers.

I would think so since My daughters ipod info is also on ur PC...it is on a seperate file...Should be able to down load into a seperate file yourself then upload onto your ipod....
