South The Official 2013 DBA T-DAY Planning Thread

I don't get your "motion"... you like or don't like sand? by being a pooooo-seyyyyyyyy tells me you don't like it. :noidea:
I do not mind the sand at all, in fact it is fun to rip up a good sand wash. The thing that bothers me about it is the fact that there is the occasional rock just under the surface. Now I do know a couple of people that I ride with who feel differently about those sandy stretches. :noidea: Hey Tim, you have anything to add about rocks and sand?

My own fault, I was sitting down, looking back. I don't do either anymore, especially in a sand wash.

My kid has a habit of looking behind him to see if I am coming along and I am always telling him to forget about me and watch what is laying up ahead. One of the reasons why I like to be in front. Amazing how fast something can happen when your head is aimed in the wrong direction.

:lol:Did somebody say turtle heads? (Not to be confused with Turtle Dicks).

Which reminds me - I'm going shopping for a Turtle-neck - I hear they're coming back in style. Oh, and by the way, how's the planning coming along? (or should I just check in again when this thread gets to 60 pages) :smirk:
Turtle necks are the way to go Nedge, especially with our warm summer nights. :smirk: The planning is coming along nicely and we have all decided that we are going somewhere out here in the desert. You should come on down for a tour sometime. :thumb:

I'm actually going to be free this T-day and probably heading out to the Des as well. What kind of riding are yall looking to do?
