Please ask your GF/Wife/Maid or whoever washes your Jersey........

How the hell do they get your jersey clean?

i took one dirt nap at the track and after 3 washes. 2 with regular soap and 1 with bleach the dirt marks are still not coming out.

next up the wife is gonna try some spot cleaner stuff to see if that does the trick... ill report back if it works. In the mean time please help my wife with some ideas of how to get my stuff clean.

Who cares...............who you trying to impress? Dirt stains are like scars.....I myself don't have any but I've been told........

i care obviously now :focus:

I'm kidding Travace, I'm KIDDING........I do most of the house hold chores (currently that is...earning my room and board :smirk:) How about som eSHOUT? Try to SHOUT IT OUT.....or one of those stain sticks...:noidea: That's all I got.

While you are asking the w/gf/m about that, can you also ask what cleaner is best for the shower? I have tried lots of different kinds, nothing works, not even a bit. I am ready to use gasoline and a match.
Hey, Travace is asking about cleaning a motorcycle jersey, so this is kind of dirtbike related, kind of.

Travace must be a track rider. The best solution is to buy new gear every week.

More seriously, dirt usually comes out pretty easy. You can try some of the spot treatment, but I would guess that the dirt got ground into the fabric. Try some non bleach spot stuff and a toothbrush or other small brush. You could even just use some detergent.

And a little elbow grease...it WON'T stain!

you think dirt is hard to get out?? try and get 2stroke spooge out! it just doesn't come out! :P

I gotta say, jerseys are effin' bulletproof! How can I get serious road rash THROUGH a jersey and not have it rip or tear?? I bleed from the inside of the jersey! I gotta wash my own stuff, actually do EVERYTHING myself, so here's what I do and it works!

DON'T CRASH! :P

Beyond that, use good soap. Tide with Clorox for colors works best. Spray with SHOUT! and let it sit and dry. Then soak in a bucket with hot water and Clorox for colors overnite. Scrub vigorously! Then wash in Tide on the "get the blood out" cycle. I think that's the only cycle I have on my washer, since it's always my blood, a woodland creature's blood, or a combination of both!

I use the STAIN STICK on my biz clothes if I spill. That works. Plus the white T-shirts get a soaking overnite in a bucket of Clorox and this shit that keeps the pit's from yellowing over time.

Works for me!:thumb:

I will try the soaking overnight. If i had darker colored riding gear i guess this wouldnt be so much of a issue but with my white jersey and pants it just looks like i dont clean myself. Thanks for the post +3 roost

I've got a white jersey and pants, some stuff just don't come out, I figure screw it it's just gonnna get dirty anyways. I've seen some of my buddies ruin their gear by washing it too much with harsh detergents.

ok boys, gotta have the woman to git r done...

WHAT kind of dirt is it? if its red clay it has lots of iron in it, soak in some whink(little brown bottle) then wash with detergent and borax. borax is a water softener/degreaser which breakes the chemcal bond between dirt n fiber, its great to use with detergent anyways. borax is also great to clean air filters with, basically the same stuff as the no-toil powder(and way less expensive)

blood--soak overnight in cold water, swiush it a couple times. if you dont and run blood stainss thru a dryer it sets for good, it may fade over time

if you wash something and the stain doesnt come out, DONT put it in the dryer it will set the stain.

NEVER put pants, jerseyys, gloves in the dryer, it breaks down the fibers and glue, makes fibers brittle

dishwashing liquid is great for greasy stains, put a blob of straight soap on stain, rub it in, let it set overnight, then wash on HOT

otherwise why cry about dirt stains, that just means you actually and arent a pit tootsie poser:moon:
