4 Stroke 07 250XCFW with 300 kit, submarine 2nd tear down

bad news, the used cam bridge I bought has the exh side bad and the cam turns hard in it. So Im sending it back. Tried to buy one on line and found that all are sold out and back ordered til 8-13. Damn my next scheduled ride was Sat 8-14, so it probly wont happen. Maybe the parts will be a few days early tho.

 Fix the bike or go do something else. :noidea: I don't find that a hard choice. :smirk:

it runs again. I had to adjust 3 valves with the new parts going in and I had a heck of a time cuz I didnt notice that one of the guide pins for the parts to line up had fallen out so I kept getting different readings. Good to have a nice set of calipers and i had purchased a Hot cams set for the 250, of course they are different than most other makes of bikes.
I learned that this cam bridge failure is some what common on this motor. So I now know what to check to see if its too tight before running the motor. It fired right up and I am gonna ride it to the gas station and filler up and then around town some to see if it is all good now.
