Choke was hanging up... dumb problem, but a free fix, so I can't complain.

Wow that's interesting. All along everyone was thinking electrical. Crazy machines!

What would happen is that when it would warm up, it would run way too rich and act like it was hitting a rev limiter, then it would flood and be impossible to start.
