Ok, so I have no experience using a IMS tanks, but I installed a Clarke tank on my friends bike, the fit was not perfect. The plastic mounting pieces for the tank had to be hand modified. Also, the maier shrouds had to be modified also, however this was a clear tank, preferred over the cracked original tank.

For the same reasons stated by coach. Most everyone I see in the dez seems to have IMS for the most part.

What are your plans for use range wise? I think most guys run 3.2 gals and you can keep your shrouds.
