Skid Plates

No I mean the company that this thread is about doesn't have holes in the Yamaha Skidplates.

Sorry, yea...I checked it out...The only skid plate I had without holes in it was a long time ago when the pipes went under the bike and the skid plates weren't very high...

I really like the E-Line Carbon Fiber stuff. its pricey but is tougher than a two dollar steak!!

I don't know about using carbon fiber for stuff like that, it definitely works, and it sure can take a hit, but its scratch sensitive. one good scratch and the the integrity of the entire piece is gone.

that info is coming from personal experience

Travace this is the Skid Plate that I just added to my 2010 KTM 450 EXC. I had the same skid plate on my 2008 KTM 450 EXC. Flatland Racing is where I got them from

I see the front is held in with bolts, same on the underside? On my 400 the skidplate was held on with clamps, a real pain in the ass to take off and install. I have an XR's only bolt on skid plate on the 650, much easier to take off and on for maintenance. And it's taken some good whacks, no reliability issues with the bolts.

Yes it is bolted to the frame.
