Hey new from pa. Been riding since i was three. Just sold my streetbike to be able to buy a better dirtbike. I have a husky 250 4 stroke and 2 stroke.
Im about to buy a 2002 crf450r and would like any and all input anyone cab shed on this bike before i buy it.

Is it worth it? Is it too old? are they bad bikes? Any known problems? I have researched but haven't gotten to much info because i guess its older Idk. Looking to pic up a bike this weekend and this one looks good for the money. He wants 2k.

Pagoda is one of the tracks I ride at... They are racing this weekend I think

94 wxe 250 2 stroke and 04 te 250 four stroke. No pics since i have been working non stop since Friday. Possibly have another 08 rmz 450 on the list for 2800. By the end of week i should have another bike

Welcome to the forum. You do have some older Husky's.
This is what you need: TE 450 09 EFI

Or this: TE 450 08 EFI

Or even: SM 610 08 EFI

No, I would stay away from the CRF's, they are a pain to work on but they do run good when maintained properly.
