The Guns Thread

well since we will get :gibbs: if we talk about anything other than guns here I will let it alone.

oh phut dat,,,, 01 seems high to me especially since I bought my 01 250 for 1k. I would think the 02 is okay with all that after market chit it might be a deal as long as the bike is tight,,I.E. all the bearings wheel, linkage, steer head, shock, and swingarm. All those bearing could run ya another 300 bucks to replace. With an 02 if they have not been re-greased every year then they are shot.:prof: plus it is a zook and zooks are notorious for weak clutch baskets. If it has been replaced with an after market like a Hinson or something then your gold if not you will need to replaced eventually. thats another 200 so your 1k can turn into an easy 1500 and I would also replace the piston unless he can prove with reciept that he just replaced it. That is another 150.

Sheesh. I didn't think about all that! Oh well, I'll see what I can do. I'll talk to my Dad about everything this weekend.

I just got a text from the guy with the 2001 RM125 for $1500. He said he'd let me have it for $1000 because he just broke his car. I guess it all boils down to which year is a better bike. The 2002 does have a little more aftermarket parts.

anyone know why my .357 will only fire single action and not double?

Red, it's not the cartridge, it's the gun! Your gun is a single action gun!

:picard:

I call BS on REDSWR! There is no way he made it to State Trooper level and asks a question like that!

Red, you have to do better than this! You piss me off, and insult the intelligence of your perceived peers on DBA.
:moon:

lol... i mean it fires when i caulk it but when i just let the trigger caulk and fire it doesn't fire it just dents the primer

Red, you graduated from the State Police Patrol School, which is like graduating from a military school, right?

Hmm, somehow the hammer aint getting enough spring tension when it releases in double action. It depends on the gun you have, you may need a stiffer spring or you can tighten the strain screw. Have you had any trigger work done?
