Go to Shell Rotella T6 5W40. It is rated for your bike and clutch.
A notched basket will cause all sorts of clutch issues as will soft springs.

Im gonna mesure my fibers tomorrow. Do you think that the notched basket wrecked my new fibres?
Worn pressure plate a possibility?
Anything is possible but I doubt it. Are you 100% positive that you have all the parts and they are installed properly along with that there are no kinks or frays in the clutch cable?
Im gonna get new cable
So what i learned was that my ebc clutch springs were out of spec and i messured my stock ones and they were in spec. So i tossed them in and cleaned out all old oil and replaced with shell rotella t6 5w40. And it still slips. I noticed my inner hub and pressure plate have grooves in them, and when i pull my clutch it has stick spots where you can feel the grooves. Imguessing i should replace those?
Pics please
I just put it togeather. Now that i rode it without helmet and my buddy listend and in 1st theres deffinatly some serious grinding going on. Off to a mechanic
certainly you would have noticed metal in your oil??
speaking of aftermarket clutch baskets, wish this rm had a hinson lol its still got the stock basket
No clicking, no hopping, no gear grinding no missed shifts...... Just slips... Interesting. I'm anxious to hear what the mechanic says. Please provide pics when he splits the cases.
When its slipping i can hear noises. Might just be the chain slapping
