What did you do to your car/truck today?

people don't understand that if you take care of it, they'll go for a very very long time.
If you think it is so easy to take care of them. Come to CNY and you will say otherwise. Up here we have this thing called snow. The towns and state plow trucks put this whitish brown stuff on the road. It is called salt. Go ahead see how far you get trying to maintain the looks and usefulness of your ride. :prof:

I'm sorry you and your state suck dick.

Might have just bought this jewel
It looks to be a Ford Explorer. Is it? FYI if it is watch out for these few problems with them. Wheel bearings they are weak; Transmission it is weak, engine suddenly blows without warning. Other than that they are a comfortable ride. Lots of room. Mine was an 02 7 passenger. It was good on gas and enjoyable to drive. I had to replace both front wheel bearings twice. The tranny blew on me; so I replaced it. Everything was ok for about two weeks. Then the motor suddenly seized. I sold the tranny and now I am parting out the rest of the truck. Even with those problems I still thought the Explorer was a nice ride. It might be because it was the only vehicle. We had to where my whole family could sit in comfortably.

Yeah, This is a 05 Explorer Limited..With the 4.6 V8.4x4..One owner,200k miles, sunroof, full leather,3rd row seating, dvd flip down monitors.. They said the transmission is out. I'm waiting on the keys right now. I ain't scurred :prof: The shift solenoids in that particular trans are faulty. I can rebuild the solenoid, fairly cheap. I just hope they ain't tried to drive it much. Either way, I'm buying it for way less than its worth.

Being an 05 is good. Because, they changed the shift solenoids in 04. So you should be fine with that. Except for the wheel bearings. I did not mention that mine was a 4.0L V-6.

Don't think i'm getting the Explorer, :( lol...

I changed the oil in my 08 and 02 f150's...

And washed and cleaned the 08 ... It was nasty.
Not a big fan of the explorer, your probably better off, and by the way, before you call your f150 nasty.....you outa see the dirt and dust caked on the dash and floor of my f150....if I cleaned it, it would shed more weight than a Jenny Craig member
