YZ250f engine swap

Hi I have a 2008 yz250f with no engine and Iv found a 2009 engine will it fit ?
I keep being told it might be fuel injected can anyone help
I’m a complete novice when it comes to this stuff

2009 is not fuel injected. 2013 was the first year for that on the YZ250f. The 450 had it for the first time in 2009.
