Sorry. From the looks of it they royally F'd up the UI (user interface).

Yup, or at least built for touch screens. Looks like Windows 7 might be the new XP. :bonk:

I have been using windows 8 since the consumer preview launch, I really enjoy it.

How much of the UI changed?

I'm guessing that the younger generations can catch on pretty quick, however the older people won't have a chance. :bonk:

The only issues I have had, are, that it doesn't have all the updates yet, so is thus incompatible with some stuff. Very fluid UI.
