Verizon 4G is spotty at my house as they're still rolling it out in this market. However was over at Kyle's house the other week (who has 4G) and took a speed test.
This is on a cell phone!
In comparison, my DSL is only 3mb download and .7 mb upload.
I'd say that's impressive. Now the downside. At that rate you will get a gig in just over 40 seconds. With a 2Gig monthly plan you can use it all in a minute and a half.

(Thankfully) I got grandfathered into the 4G unlimited plan (), but you do have a point. Last I saw Verizon was selling the 4gb data at the 2gb rate ($30) though. Also it would take slightly longer then 40 seconds to reach a GB as 24Mb/s isn't the actual transfer rate.
