Well, I finally did it. Won the Open Am main, ate it trying to pass for the win on the last corner of the last lap in the heat! Overall a good day of racing! We lost a close friend in the dirt track community not too long ago. Aj Herrera helped me become the rider I am, and I wouldnt be anywhere near where I am with out all his help. Godspeed Aj, you are missed. The next race at Ventura Raceway is August 31st, and its dedicated to Aj Herrera. I will be riding the Open Am class again and hope to put it on top of the box again! Ohh and heres a pic of some left clankin' that took place recently so this isnt COMPLETELY boring for y'all

I always loved throwing my TT500 sideways ... that was a kick in the arse especially when there were newB's that we passed and roosted them with sand, gravel, rocks, chunks.... etc. Had it out on Soggy dry lake once doing highspeed slides until I laid it over too far and hooked my peg... spun me around like a top. no rash, nuttin, not a mark... this was way back when we wore leathers.... how my right leg wound up over the front fender still baffles me! :crazy:
