Hey im kinda new to the four stroke motocross bikes,(more familiar with automotive engines) my 07 KX250 dropped a valve, exhaust cam is heat checked, and cam journal in the head is scored. ive been checking ebay for used parts for awhile now ive noticed this is a common problem with these bikes because ive seen ppl selling the intake cam only or used heads w the same problem. besides coughin up the money for an aftermarket head and everything or finding good used parts, isnt there a machine shop somewhere i can send the head out too that can resurface/shim the cam journals so that i dont need a new head??
