Tusk First Line oil filter, not leaving a good first impression.

I ordered a Tusk First Line oil filter after having good luck with Tusk stuff in the past, but I think I'm missing something here, I just don't see how this even comparable to a oem filter. Oem on the right, rma on the left.

Its still a micron filter, we run them in all our 4t's , ours looks like the one on the right though

I was going to create a thread just like this, already had the picture.


I also thought that the quality was pretty crappy. K&N on top and Tusk on bottom in this picture.

So what is the difference here? They look the same to me except for the color. The first post from offroad looks strange.

It's very hard to see in the pictures, but they're pretty shoddy. For example mine weren't "square" (yes I know their actually circular ). If you look at OR4M's picture you can see that better, notice how it "tilts" to one side? Plus there's bonding agent/glue oozing out of the filter. Now the K&N is perfectly square and it looks to be built much better.
