Trying to get DRZ 110 running

Yes ultimately you want to screw it in to open the slide a little more. However if you adjusted the wrong screw (fuel mixture) then you'll have to play with that for a bit to get the carb dialed in. Thats why I mentioned count the turns. So if you did by chance pull the mixture screw out. You could put it back the same amount of turns that you found it.

So If indeed you have found the Idle screw run it back in the amount of turns you removed it. Then turn it in an additional 4 turn. Try to start the bike. If it fires up let it warm up. Once its up to temperature then adjust the idle screw in or out to get the bike to idle where you want it.

Ok, I think I removed the right one. But I can't get it to screw back in at all. This is what the hole looks like, it's as if it's blocked or something. And I removed every screw and jet when I cleaned the carb, so everything could be totally messed up. I basically just screwed everything back in, not knowing that the adjustments and amount of turns mattered.

Oh wait... according to the picture posted by Big Dan earlier, I did remove the wrong one...... woops. Although like I said before, they were probably all messed up anyway. Do I just play with them until I can get the bike to start?

Lift the slide with the throttle and the screw will thread back in. The slide is blocking it.

Basic settings are
1-1/2 turns from gently seated for the mix screw.
And about 2 turns IN from where the speed screw first contacts the throttle slide.
