I still don't think anything was really done. Just a big old hoax. The pics of him with the hammer didn't even resemble the slide.

Jerry Counts (Countdown), the guy that runs GPXchange (sp) site did it for one of his dual sport rides. He posted the pic on the D37 site I believe and all hell broke loose after that.

I think it was Chad (Neversurfaced) that brought it up.
