The hour meter is on with just two sided tape but two layers of it so the meter isn't real close to the frame and it helps crab more frame surface and less vibration. Like a cushion if that makes any sense? The front brake is mushy and pulls in along ways. I've all ready had the MC rebuilt. All be it,it could use new pads but I know the Line is expanding. And yeah. The forks have lighter springs in them. The only thing that bogs is the FCR carb. Shoulda done the ap mod since the shock was out but I want to do it the right way. Next time. The gearing is not for a track, it might not be a good set up as you guys don't want to shift much and have power out of a corner in the bottom of third gear. The power is still there but just in a lower gear but Streached the top end out. The bike used to top out around 50mph. As to where it might be 70 now. I would say at this point it's about a even sacrafice..... Might go up on the rear 1 tooth next sprocket and chain swap. I have a 48 or 49 sitting around somwhere. It's hard to run with the 450's in open ground. That thing used to sound like it was gonna pop. The gearing all so makes it a bit better or not so punchy in the tight stuff. It does seem easier to flame out though if not kept in the revs. I would like to try it out with the 13- 49 on it though. The bike is ported with 13.0 compression it might only be 12.5. I can't remember unless I go check my notes. It has Hot cams stage 2 Int and Exh. I'm not sure if this was a plus or not compaired To the OEM cams but I'm sure it helped the top end a bit. The boy is welcome to work on his bike anytime he wants or hang out. Wish he would. Life is changing for the both of us. I don't have as much raine anymore and he is starting to check out adult hood.Just Hope I don't lose my best riding friend. They are hard to come by.
