In an effort to offer the first time & less experienced racer an opportunity to enjoy the thrill of motocross competition less intimidating environment, we began hosting races on the International Track on Saturday mornings. Speedworld Saturday Motocross Races have become a huge hit with local riders, spectators and families. The International Track at Speedworld offers the less experienced rider a confidence and skill building motocross experience without the intimidation of huge jumps while offering the more experienced riders a tighter, more technical track design. Our new racing classes are designed to offer the less experienced rider a fun, pleasurable taste of motocross competition. We’ve developed racing classes generic enough for anyone & everyone: 65cc / 85cc / Big Bike / Womens This has turned out to be a great platform for first timers and racers without numerous years of racing experience. Each race, we’ve seen some new faces, as well as returning racers from previous weeks. From the Mini Class to the Open Class, all of our Saturday morning racers are having a great time! Between motos, we’ve also held some very exciting exhibition races. A few of Arizona’s best professional racers have participated, showing our amateurs just how fast they can become with practice and dedication. These special guests often assist in our awards presentation at the conclusion of racing, sign autographs, answer questions, and help our amateurs with tips on balance, technique, training, etc. Ryan Clark, Jacqueline Strong, Michael Blose, Dillon Huddleston, Buddi Bruner and Kyle DeFoe have recently been involved and more of Arizona’s best will continue to come out & work with our racers, helping to grow our sport. Here's an explanation of sub-classes offered: Rookie: Little or no racing experience Beginner: Some racing experience Junior: Racing experience with some success in the Beginner class Veteran: Any rider over 30 years old with multiple years of riding/racing experience OPEN: Any age rider with racing experience & skill level above Junior BIG BIKE: Any full size 125cc and larger displacement motorcycle NOTE: 150cc racers will race against 85cc in appropriate sub-class / Women racers may enter any Big Bike class Our Saturday Motocross Racing Schedule is as follows: June 4 July 2 August 6 September 3 "From Beginner To Pro, It's The Place To Go"
