Southwest Colorado near Silverton. There are a lot of 12k+ passes that you can get to. Mostly a jeeper area, but a great dual sport zone. Colorado has a lot of really nice riding. Nothing like singletrack above the tree line.

And I will be in Steamboat Springs on the 16th through the 22nd getting a first hand tour. :banana:
 
Yes I brought the bikes but this it the magical land where it doesn't quit raining, and well, the isuzu is quite comfy :smirk: . :)
Silverton CO and the surrounding animas valley is my location.
I hope to get to ride the bike a bit yet :)
I mounted my go pro on the dash of the zu but the sound is really messed up, I'll put some music over it when I get home, drove corkscrew pass from here to Ouray and then the million dollar highway back into silverton
