I’m currently building a ‘96 CR250, and I’ve been looking for a pro circuit stinger tip silencer to go with my current works pipe and haven’t been having any luck finding one for that year. Aside from the 92-96 years I was curious if any other years of CRs bolt up and/or match the ‘96 silencer?

I found one that looked heavily used, but it was already sold. Can find them with the standard tip, but having problems finding one with a stinger tip also. Not sure if other years would be compatible. Most likely, only difference would be the mounting points on other years around that time.
For that era CR250 I’d be pretty cautious about assuming a later silencer will bolt straight on. Honda changed subframes, pipe routing, and mounting tabs often enough that “close” can still mean cutting brackets or stressing the pipe joint. The safest bet is to stick with the listed 92 to 96 fitment, or compare part numbers and mounting points from Pro Circuit/FMF listings if you’re hunting used. Sometimes a silencer from a neighboring year can be made to fit with a spacer or tab tweak, but I wouldn’t buy one blind unless the seller can give you measurements: inlet diameter, overall angle, and mount spacing. Vintage 2 stroke parts hunting is basically archaeology with more spooge.
