Do you have any tattoo work? if so post up some pics of your tattoo work, tell how many hours in the chair you spent and if the tattoo has special meaning to you or not. This was my very first Tattoo and i got it when i was really into riding BMX so that is the meaning behind it. it took about 40 mins and goes all the around my right calf. this was my second tattoo and because i was raised playing poker with my family after a big win at the casino one day i went and got it. Took about 30 mins and is on my right forearm. This was my 3rd tattoo and its of my first dog that i owned when i moved out and was on my own.. He was like a child to me. One day he whelped standing up and then 3 days later he was paralyzed in both front legs... i guess he pinched some nerve and i had to put him down. i was devastated till i got the tattoo and it really helped me heal... its over my heart and took about a hour and a half The latest and greatest is a tribute to the man who saved my life. when i was 7 i was in a motorhome that caught fire. A man pulled to the side of the road and saved my life... taking 3rd degree burns to his arm. Turned out this man worked for marvel comics and inked on some spiderman comic books as well as worked on some Gi Joe cartoon movies in the 80's. They sent spiderman to my hospital bed. IM showing this pic just for the backstory to the tattoo The tattoo took me 10 years to complete and over 40 hours in the chair. I followed the artist (Randy Janson who has had lots of his work in many different tattoo magazines) from Avalon to Imu and now to Two Roses so only he would work on it. The webs cover the only real scars i have left from the skin graphing. i sometimes get the ... wow you really must like comics and thats why i always tell the back story to why i got what i got not to make anyone sad or for sympathy Now share yours :blah:
