Tire, You looked good for the second race. I have been riding for about 10 years and have never raced. So next month is my first race and I will be running the beginner class as well. May I make a suggestion though. I know its is really hard to gauge anything off of a Go Pro video but in the corners you are a little to hesitant. Turning is caused by lean angle. You can go through corners without turning the bars if you lean the bike. Just the bike not your body. Here is what I do. Get all my braking done before I enter the corner (just remember slower in = faster out). I make a conscious effort to tell myself weight forward (not lean forward) weight forward. (put your nuts on the gas cap or as close as you can). This gets the front tire to dig in. Out side elbow has to stay up. Upper body straight up. Let the bike lean under neath you. You can help it by putting your :moon: on the outside of the seat. Weight the out side foot peg and put inside leg out by front axle so it doesn't get hit or stuck in a rut. Then start accelerating at the apex of the corner. You are running the beginner class so your not jumping all the jumps and neither is anybody else. You can make a lot of time up in the corners. I have proven this theory time and again. By racing people on the track and not jumping the jumps but use proper cornering techniques and still being able to stay ahead of them. Hopefully your not confused because this post makes perfect sense in my head :loco:. The most important thing is that you have fun and go back to the truck healthy.
