Message: <blockquote data-quote="AdamRides87" data-source="post: 181429" data-attributes="member: 2577"><p>If you do a lot of trail riding you gotta blow your carb out and clean off the cylinder of excess gas.  Hold the clutch and whack the throttle to clean it out.  I have fouled many plugs myself its a pain in the ass.  I changed the jetting a lot and religiously clean my air filter every ride.  And remember 2 stroke are meant to be ridden at high RPMs, not to be chugged around, really get on that throttle!  Run the top end in between trail rides.  I use mine KX250 for hillclimbing, redline and hit the power band all the time, never foul spark plugs.  Jetting is a HUGE part of 2 stroke, dial that baby in!</p></blockquote><p></p>
