New Air Forks: Love them or hate them?

Though it looks like a cool idea, definitely better than what we currently have, like cleonard said this isn't a good design for trail riders. something fails on that shock and your screwed.

so the same company that makes t shirts, mx gear, and other casual wear is the same as the suspension company? i always thought they were different

nope... started building shocks to help his son do better in MX.... Company took off but when mono shocks came out they couldnt keep up so they started producing t-shirts and moved on to gear...

That's what I understood too, but I swear Fox Shox are still on market..

Nope, same company
No , they actually are two different companies. Geoff Fox started Moto-X Fox in the seventies as a accessories distributor. Later, his brother Bob developed his suspension , and teamed with Geoff to market it. Eventually, they split up and did their own thing. Geoff kept the fox head logo , and Bob uses a fox tail logo for Fox Racing Shox.
