RM125 Need advice on a RM125

there ya go! btw, if you get taht bike all of the parts from the 97 RM250 will swap right over. Including engine I believe :thumb: Much better than that basket case..

Wow really. So hypothetically how hard is it to convert a 125 to 250. Would there be issues with shocks/frame strength I'm coming from off road world where throwing big engine in small truck usually leads to other suspension steering or frame issues

A 250 motor will bolt right in I believe..... but you are better off just buying a 250 from the get go.... However, the 125 is a ton of fun to ride and a lethal weapon in the right hands... Good luck :thumb:

Just wondering. I would rather get a 250 then cobble one together it just cool to learn stuff like that.

For instance my Xterra has a Titan front diff and suspension to gain lift.

there is less than 10lbs of difference between the 125 and 250 motor.

I am looking at buying a project bike and found a RM125 for $300. It's a 2000 and a pile of parts right now. I have lots of mechanical experience with jeeps and off road vehicles but nothing with bikes. I need opinions on whether it would be worth it to get the bike parts and assemble it
make sure evrythings there....just bought an 03 in basket missed the exhaust mounts and motor mounts...petty things cost me an extra 80 bucks...and no slide in carb was also 60 bucks...there was more...
