RM125 Need advice on a RM125

I am looking at buying a project bike and found a RM125 for $300. It's a 2000 and a pile of parts right now. I have lots of mechanical experience with jeeps and off road vehicles but nothing with bikes. I need opinions on whether it would be worth it to get the bike parts and assemble it

depends on what it needs to run and ride properly.if you have to dump a grand into it to get it running and riding correctly then its not worth it. if you only need to assemble it amd buy some miscellanious odds and ends then yes, its worth it.

From the pics it looks all there. The owner bought it as a parts bike and tire it down to frame sub frame and forks the rest is in boxes. Seems like it would just need a rebuild kit and a couple other things.

If he bought it as a parts bike and tore the engine apart I'm sure he tore the engine apart for well...parts. :thumb: Don't get too excited, just keep watching the listings and wait for that right bike to come to you :thumb:

I would personally go check it out. I have flipped TONS of bikes that I bought in pieces.
The motor being apart gives me some concern, but generally looks like It could be cleaned up and pieced together.
You have to go and check it out firsthand though.. Alot can be missing/damaged.

Boxed bikes are where the profit/adventure lives... You have to put on MAN pants and give it a shot.
Some of MY PERSONAL Boxed bike flips. ALL for profit or I kept it for myself.
