[QUOTE="PSJBrock, post: 120073, member: 1050"] So I went to the local Harley Shop to do some last minute shopping this weekend. The owner of the shop is really into vintage motorcycles and has a few of them on display. I snapped a few photos of this one. It is not really vintage but it is very rare. Only 12 of these bad boys were made to celebrate the first world title Ducati won. It is a titanium framed Ducati based on the 900SS. The bike that was raced was a 900SS L twin and Mike Hailwood won the Isle of Man on it even though it was grossly underpowered compared to the 1000 CC and 1200CC 4 cylinders is competition was running. The frame and subframe of this bike weigh 11 pounds and the motor is a 1120CC twin that is 22 pounds lighter than a stock ducati 1100CC motor. The craftsmanship and technology put into this motorcycle is unbelievable. Anyways enough yacking here are the pics.
