Have you done other things first? jetted the bike(stupid lean stock), opened up the airbox, open up the stock exhaust? You can get allot more power out of that bike without spending a ton on an exhaust. In fact when I had my bike it was just getting out that KX 65 carbs made em run awesome.

150f has a a "big bike" feel, way better feel for a taller guy. also seemed narrower, and quicker and less cumbersome in stock trim. The 140 has better pegs, estart on all models, and good center balance, as well as better brakes.
the 140 seems like it has a bit more power down low then the 150f also, and the only downfall i see of the 140 is the front suspension, and no back up kickstarter if ur battery dies, never had it die but if it did happen that would blow
bump start
u have to bumpstart the 140 in 2nd gear, which makes it really akward when trying to bumpstart it sometimes
