So basically he said: "We have done our due diligence. We put up with the bullshit system for nine years. We are warriors and will not back down even though we are seriously shrinking the military and it's foot print world wide... it's time for the citizens to shut it... because we just never say quit in a fight unless it's Vietnam !" They have appeased the Hammers folks which is the real money maker for local businesses. So the idiots in Congress have no reason to side with us. Hammers has their event secure. Politicians think bigger gov is better for gov... and how many folks from Johnson Valley and the OHV community are really gonna affect any elections in the future anyway ? I mean we can't get enough non Dem/Lib politicians to fill the CA Legislature. We can't even elect a Gov. We can't even control our Green Sticker Dollars as it is. How the hell are a few thousand offroaders gonna affect a national issue ? The politicians in the US Congress don't fear anything we can do. Unless the transfer of the property between BLM & Military costs CASH, it is just gonna happen. Since the Fed Gov already owns the land... it seems they'll just shuffle accounts as needed to change the name on the door. [S]BLM[/S] to MARINES Bottomline: Marines don't lose fights. And they certainly won't lose one to a few thousand offroaders CRYING whether they really need the land or NOT !
