It's all over....

Well folks, the battle with the county & state is over.
Speedworld is done. Closed indefinitely.
We're as disappointed as all of you.

It all ended so abruptly, we weren’t even afforded the opportunity to throw one
last farewell moto weekend (and that pretty much sucked)
Little did we all know in mid January 2013, we wouldn't be able
to ride Speedworld anymore.

We know that as much as some people complained
about the place, deep down inside most people loved it.
And there are quite a few families that just enjoyed
the place every time they came out to ride.

The bottomline: Most of us sure wish we could ride that dirt again!

There's song lyrics that go something like "you don't know what you have 'til it's gone"

We want you to remember Speedworld and all of the great times you've enjoyed there.

We're offering you the opportunity to own part of the National Track.
It’s the least we could do.
Some may think buying a jar of dirt is lame, others will appreciate the effort that
has gone into this unique offer. (We know that you'd rather be able to ride again at
Speedworld, but since that's no longer an option, you can own some true
Arizona Motocross History for about the price of practice.)

Sure, you could go get a shovel full of dirt yourself, but here are a few things to consider:
You may get in trouble for trespassing.
Nobody will believe you when you tell them where it's from.
A little pile of dirt in your backyard isn’t much of a conversation piece.
And let's face it, your little pile of dirt wouldn't have a cool label!

Dan is not behind this page, this souvenir offer, or trying to "squeeze" anybody for any money. Dan is actually selling some of the equipment he owns so that he can pay his personal bills. If you aren't interested in buying a souvenir dirt sample (from a place that holds great memories for alot of people) it's okay. Don't buy a jar! I think this was put together so that at least a few people can say they own a little bit of a place that made them happy. This is just a fun souvenir & a great conversation piece. Nothing more, nothing less. Thanks, enjoy!

INGREDIENTS
The contents of each jar include a very special mixture of blood, sweat, tears, oil, gasoline, and rubber. It symbolizes and memorializes family time, personal achievements, friendships, rivalries, fear, individual bravery, hard work, great memories with great people, heartbreaks, victory and defeat.

Each jar of authentic soil is from a very special place in Arizona that holds a place in our hearts & our lives.

The mixture was so magical, that it cannot and will not ever be reproduced.
It’s certified 100% authentic Arizona motocross history. Save it. Treasure it. Most importantly, remember it.

We’ll always treasure the fun, the competition, and the friendships we’ve made along the way. Thank you all, it was a great ride!

Sorry to hear of your struggles! Cool memorial type souvenirs! Seems places are getting the boot everywhere these days. :pout: -BIG DAN

Yeah, I would be worried about that R.V. Corner dirt, especially if Rack's been out that way...I hear he pulls his plug on the black tank and lets rip where ever he is camped. :puke:

That is sad news but I have witnessed this many times over the many years of motorcycle parks. Seems homes, bitching and anything else always gets in the way of these types of places. :banghead:
