Somehow those huge heavy beast bikes and desert sand just doesn't sound like a fun time.

After watching that I'm sure. A lighter bike might be a bit easier. There must be a lot of high speed sections where those 900cc twin cylinder bikes rule to make up for the problems in the sand.
