A 125 would be a good cheap way to get into it providing you have been ridding bikes for a little while. You won't outgrow it and being 5'6" already it doesn't pay for you to be in the super mini class....
More importantly take your time and get a lot of practice in as well.

A 125 2 stroke would be a great choice. You wouldn't want to go with a mini bike at 5'6...you're a GIANT!
