Got my (AMA) wings

As of Oct. 2010 there were 6,634,506 registered motorcycles in the U.S. The AMA's total membership is only 231,874. Just think, what if every motorcycle owner was also an AMA member? Imagine the clout we would have. All the BS anti-motorcycle laws would not have been passed. Just sayin' :prof:

Damn right! :thumb:

Even if you break it down some, AMA says that there's an average of 3 bikes per member. So 6,634,506 divided by 3 is still 2,211,202 potential members.

I am a lifer (20+ years) so I dont get a pin or even a new card any more ..... but they keep trying to get me to pay for that crappy magazine.
