Frame Paint

Well, its time to choose what paint i want to go with to paint my frame. I know i want it either a satin or semi-gloss black but i can't decide which paint i want to go with. I do have a spray gun and compressor but real paint is so much more expensive than the ol' rattlecan.
So far i have considered these:

Sorry to flood you with links but i have know clue here. I want something that is SUPER durable and will look pretty good too. I think the 2 part epoxy would be great but idk if one of the cans would be just as good if not better for less.

Any input/experience is valued :thumb:

no matter what you go with it will rub off adventually, get frame guards on that bish right after the paint is dry and bike it back together. :prof:

Check out tractor supply ...Rural King... tractor places... they usually have really good black paints..That fight corrosion ... I painted my boat trailer with it Beginning of last year... And it looks great... Even after backing into crappy muddy scummy water.... Its cheaper and better qaulity ... Usually only have a couple colors... black and blacker.

Biggest part about painting is the prep work.

RKO is awesome with that stuff man. They one by us sells a ton of diffrent colors, but most are in tractor shades. If you don't mind allice chalmers orange frame then your set :smirk:

PSHHHH Allis Chalmers:rolleyes:

CASE IH!:smirk:

But IMO Darren, semi-gloss is the way to go(not that it necessarily looks better, I think the semi gloss finish would be less susceptible to corrosion by not being so easy for mud/water to attach to. but that's just my theory...). I also think you should bed liner the parts of the frame where your boots will rub. Why pay for a guard that's gonna hold mud/moisture anyways?
