Last weekend was the first race of our local desert racing series. It was the Gamblers Hare Scramble at Crescent Peak California. The weather was exactly opposite to what we here in Nevada are used to. It was foggy and really cool temperatures. It never rained but everything was wet due to the Fog. Visibility was bad and the sand turned to mud. Nobody saw this coming so goggle prep was non existent. Every person that came through the pits was sans goggles and had cuts on their faces.
Everybody seemed to enjoy the course but said the conditions made it miserable. Here are some pictures. I am getting the go pro footage and will post a video tomorrow or the next day.
