After a little more research I don't believe there is. I went down a rabbit hole with AI (micsoft co-pilot) after my magneto stator failed due to a ground fault. I purchased a replacement from Ebay but couldn't get it to achieve spec peak voltages on the pickup and signal coils so I sent it back and purchased another from a different supplier off Ebay and had the same issue. I ran the issues through AI which said to set the pickup coil air gap to 0.3 to 0.5 and also said that it could be done through the timing access port. Anybody that knows what I'm talking about knows that this is nearly, if not completely impossible which is why I posted my original question. Also, the pickup coil does not have slotted mounts so there literally is no adjustment. So unless I'm wrong, the gap is set by the factory and as long as the replacement pickup coil is the same width as the OEM coil, it should be within spec. I've now ordered a third stator from RMStator which I hope works. I've read that some of these non-OEM stators are notorious for being defective off the shelf but I can't bring myself to fork out nearly $600 for an OEM stator. If any of you have any experience with any of this I would love to hear about it. All other components of the ignition system (other then the CDI) have been tested and checked out fine. The CDI is not going to produce spark if it's not getting the required voltage from the stator. The magneto rotor tabs (that trigger the pickup coil) look fine and the magnetism of the rotor also seems fine. As of now I'm at a loss and if this 3rd stator doesn't work this bike might become a boat anchor. Again, when originally going through the manual troubleshooting steps, the only thing that failed was the stator ground fault test. Any thoughts would be helpful!
