Finally open, we did a nice loop in there, going to the old stand-by trails.

:thumb: I used to ride to Drink Water Flats from my house. We used to party down in the area covered by trees when in high school. Man it has been a long time since I was up there. I might have to go exploring up there one day.

I rode DWF once, well sort of:busted: It was many, many years ago and it was during El Nino. I was on a XR200 and didnt even make that first climb out of the staging area. I have never been back. It was soo slick and nasty and I was a fairly new rider. I wonder how I would do now? Very nice pics!:thumb: Love the views up there.

Karen, it still has that nasty-slippery dirt, when wet. Worse the Rohwer's dirt when wet. There is also this very loose and rocky dirt on most of the hills, so trails that look easy can put you on your butt in a hurry. We lucked out, and still had some moisture.

We are going back on Saturday, for a more mellow ride. Come join us.

Moisture is key, as in just the right amount!
Thanks for the invite but I have to work all weekend:cry: Enjoy!
