Have a 2001 kx 250, and noticed today that it's slightly leaking around the drain plug, is there suppose to be a washer or some kind of gasket?....because I have nothing

The next time you are looking to see if you are missing something you can sometimes go to a site like bikebandit.com and look up the parts schematic. Floyd avoids things like that because he finds out there are LOTS of things missing sometimes.

My 03 kx250 has a washer. Not a gasket. Go on Motosport.com, type in your bike model in the OEM parts section. It will give you exploded views of every part

Yep, copper, fiber, aluminum crush washer is all you need.

When I was a VWOA parts guy, I came
Home with all sorts of little shit in my pockets. Costumer would say I want X amount, then you get back to the counter and they changed their mind. Well, I could have just walked back and put them away and make them wait for the ticket. No, put the shit in my pocket and forget it was there until I found it in the wash.
