my first ride there was in aug 1970, stopped on my way west and rode panquitch area with a friend of mine who caught a ride to his dad's property on the lake and then came west with me. I was pretty beat up after 6 weeks of multi race weeks along the eastern seaboard (mx and flattrack). it was a really nice way to decompress before being back in calif. man were both my rigs jetted wrong.
