Cush drive hubs...necessary or not?

Along with knobby tyres, good/smooth clutch control and not accel'ing or decel'ing too hard, then a 125 - 550cc dirt bike shouldn't need a cush drive.

No one here thinks that a "Cush drive " has a flying pickle's influence on a timing chain or piston do they?

I will go along with the dealer on the tires and the probability that a trail oriented tire is probably more likely to run trail pressures than a super moto. Provides a bit more damping.

It's your bike and if you want to ride it on the street go for it and enjoy it. At its age it will probably need a crankshaft before you will need some gears.

Apparently those RFS cranks last a very long time. There said to be 1 of the most durable motors.
Anyway, mine has leee than 10,000km's on it and its an 11 year old bike, it's still a baby and probably won't need anything major done for a very long time.
