After giving the carb in my 2000 rm250 a good cleanimg I notice there was some corrsion that no amount of cleaning is going to fix so I thought I would freshin up the carb with a rebuild kit but I am have a hard time finding one for a 2000 seem to be lots for 01 and newer but not for 2000. So do you guys know where I can find a carb rebuild kit for a 2000 or could I swap in a 01 or newer carb.

You could just buy OEM parts Be a bit more expensive but at least you have everything you need
none of the brass will actually corrode. the thing that requires some regular replacement is the float needle and if you have some electronic controls, those seem to benefit from replacement sometimes too.
you cant set the float "too often", but the needles last pretty long. an easy 100 hours with clean fuel now.
