Today I went to go ride my '82 YZ80 and as I started taking off the bike bogged and almost died until I let off the throttle for a second and it started Running normally. I noticed two things with the bike when I started riding today. I noticed the bike wasn't going nearly as fast as what it has in the past and the bike didn't want to hit the power band.
I started fiddling with some adjustments, the idle screw and the air fuel mixture screw I had some success doing that.
After I made those adjustments first and second gear the power band would act just fine, when I shift into third and higher the bike feels like it bogs down or it looses a little power, after a couple seconds of holding the throttle wide open the power band kicks in.
