its getting close to that time again.
that magical time of the year where my bike's piston is nearing the end of what I feel is a safe life

I don't know how many hours are on it, I know its got lots of miles, starts first kick, doesn't burn oil and still makes plenty of power. :rocker:

So, what are your opinions on the best piston kit?

Add CP Pistons (USA built) to the list, however that link that Jos posted looks like a smoking deal.

ok i have a dumb question, is the piston in the pic a 2 stroke piston. it looks like one to me but what do i know :noidea:

and that deal looks pretty good to me if every thing in the ad is true. and just wodering, will you need valves also? and if that deal doesnt work out another brand you can try is GYTR

I went with Wiseco on my rebuild not to long ago...no problems at all and the whole top end kit was only $122!

I use athena. However, if i had a 250 or a 4 poke that i didn't have to smoke the rings out of every year i would run something forged so i wouldn't have to worry about longevity of the piston
